How far along: We are now 34 weeks developed! According to babycenter.com, this week marks the week that pre-term babies generally are born with no birth issues and go home relatively quickly!
Baby D's Gains: According to Babycenter.com, Baby D is now around 4.75 pounds and 18 inches in length. Baby D's weight is compared to the size of the average cantaloupe! His/her fat layers are filling out and skin is getting smooth! The lungs and central nervous system are continuing to mature. Based on how heavy my tummy feels, I think Baby D is getting BIG!
Total weight gain: The weekly weigh in attested to only a one pound gain this week, making my new total 25 pounds. I am now in the "normal" range for total weight gain during pregnancy. I am also now just 11 pounds away from what Mike weighs! I don't think I am going to get there though... It is picture week this week, so look in the album for my giant baby belly!
Stretch Marks: None.
Belly Button: That right there is my poor, stretched out, shiny belly button!

Movement: Baby D is still moving a bunch. When I chew ice, Baby D gets the hiccups. Mike thinks I am making Baby D cold. Whenever I drink ice water, baby D starts kicking away. The movements are much less jabby than they once were, so that is nice. I can tell that Baby D is awfully squished in there when she/he moves though.
Exercise: Walking the dogs! I wish we had an elliptical so I could get some of the running motion in without the bouncing, but walking will do for the next few weeks I suppose!
Biggest Pains: I have been feeling and sleeping MUCH better this week! I get up in the night to pee every night now, but I guess that is to be expected. I haven't had trouble falling back asleep anymore though, so that is good!
Our Preparations: We had a very nice baby shower this weekend at church and have TONS of stuff now! We are very blessed to have so many people who care about us to get us all this stuff! I think we have pretty much everything we need now!
Miscellaneous Happenings: At school this week, I managed to knock my cup of water off of my desk in the middle of class. (I haven't been feeling the most graceful lately...) The lid came off as it hit the floor, leaving a huge water spot on my carpet. This was in the morning and the students I had the rest of the day kept wondering if my water broke. I assured them that if it had indeed broken, I would not be teaching them today.
That's all on Baby D for this week! Have a wonderful week!
